Under $125 gaming build in 2018

Here’s a $125 Gaming PC that runs modern games like PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, Fortnite, GTA V, Tomb Raider, Battlefield 1, CSGO, DOTA 2, COD et cetera.

I set out with one goal in mind; build the best $125 gaming computer I could with new parts. With a $125 budget, many PC elitists will write this computer off. My aim is different than theirs. Rather, my goal was to build a machine that anyone could afford. It would play the titles mentioned above in 1080p while giving gamers the ability to play some more graphically intense games in 720p.

A cheap and a great gaming build under $125

  1. INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q9650 and its motherboard (combo)         $20
  2. Kingston HyperX Fury 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3                      $18
  3. Seagate 500GB HDD                                           $15
  4. A low end 500 watt PSU                                      $7
  5. Used GeForce GT 1030                                        $65

GPU is most major component of a gaming build, you’ve to spend most of your budget on it.

You can play pretty much any AAA title upto 2017 in a build like this. Just buy components a little wisely. Get a 2-3 return warranty from seller and run a few benchmark on system and stick a eye to the temperatures. If temperatures don’t go above 80 degree then you’re good to go.
